Zoe Saldana & Nicole Kidman Get Down to Business in 'Lioness' Season 2 First Look

Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman are ready for action in the new first look photos from the second season of their Paramount+ series Lioness.

The series is inspired by an actual U.S. Military program and centers on Zoe‘s character Joe, who works with the CIA to take down terrorists.

It was picked up for a second season earlier this year. On Wednesday (August 28), we got a first official look at the cast in character again.

In one of the photos, Zoe is covered in blood. Another features her and Nicole sitting side-by-side.

Others stars who appear in the first look pictures include Morgan Freeman, Genesis Rodriguez, Bruce McGill, Jennifer Ehle and Michael Kelly. We’ve got all of the photos in the gallery!

Here’s a synopsis of the upcoming season: “As the CIA’s fight against terror moves closer to home, Joe (Saldaña), Kaitlyn (Kidman), and Byron (Kelly) enlist a new Lioness operative to infiltrate a previously unknown threat. With pressure mounting from all sides, Joe is forced to confront the profound personal sacrifices she has made as the leader of the Lioness program.”
