Australia's Qantas reports profits down to 848 million USD

SYDNEY, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Australia's national airline Qantas on Thursday posted a 28 percent fall in its post-tax profit.

Chief Executive Vanessa Hudson handed down the airline's results for the 2023-24 financial year spanning from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, revealing a post-tax profit of 1.25 billion Australian dollars (848.2 million U.S. dollars), down from a record-high 1.74 billion Australian dollars
