Chris Pine Signs On to Star in First Italian Movie 'The Kidnapping of Arabella' (& He'll Speak the Language!)
Chris Pine is tackling a project like nothing he has ever done before!
The 44-year-old Poolman actor signed on to star in the new Italian-language movie The Kidnapping of Arabella (Il rapimento di Arabella), and he’ll speak the language in it.

Variety confirmed that Chris had joined the cast of the project, which is from director Carolina Cavalli.
The movie has been described as a “dramaedy,” and it will center on a character named Holly, who is played by Bendetta Porcaroli. Holly was described as “a young misfit uncomfortable in her body.” However, her sense of reality changes when she has “a chance encounter” with a child.
Italian isn’t the only foreign language that Chris can speak. He also knows Spanish.
