The 43-year-old “Genie in a Bottle” hitmaker recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of her self-titled debut album.

She spoke about having little creative control at the time and how she reclaimed her voice with her critically acclaimed sophomore album Stripped. Christina also shared how the album gave her a chance to reclaim her sexuality after the way that she was presented with her debut.
