Brooklyn man arrested for drug possession in Moreau
MOREAU, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Brooklyn man was arrested during a traffic stop on Interstate 87 on Tuesday. Heriberto Ortiz, 48, faces multiple criminal possession charges.
On Tuesday, troopers stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Upon further investigation, troopers say they found felony-weight narcotics in Ortiz's vehicle allegedly packaged in a manner for sale.

Ortiz was transported to the State Police Barracks in Wilton, where he was processed. He was later arraigned at the Moreau Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility, where he is being held without bail.
