2,000 Arab Shriners coming to Topeka
TOPEKA (KSNT) - A big Arab Shrine event will bring 22 temples together for various activities starting Wednesday.
Starting on Aug. 28, members from 22 different Shriner temples will be in Topeka to kick off the Central States Shrine Association (CSSA) session. A lot of special events are planned from Thursday through Saturday. The public can visit the Emerald Ballroom at Hotel Topeka during this three-day period to shop with 31 different vendors.
On Saturday, Aug. 31 the CSSA will be holding a parade in downtown Topeka starting at 9:30 a.m. An afterglow celebration will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
