‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ Creeps Up List of Titles Consumers Are Most Excited About | Chart

0

What are the entertainment offerings that consumers are most excited about? It’s a question that marketers, distributors, advertisers and media publications are always asking.

ScreenShare, a data partnership between Screen Engine/ASI and TheWrap, tracks the Top 10 most-mentioned entertainment options every week and whether each has gained or lost momentum compared to the prior week. The chart lives on the Data & Analysis page of the WrapPRO Members Hub.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” holds its position at No. 1 for the eighth week in a row, but “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” continues to creep up closer, remaining at No. 2 ahead of its Sept. 6 release. “NFL Football” touches down in the Top 3 during the final week of the preseason as fans eagerly await the regular season kick-off on Sept. 5. During the week after its premium digital release, “Twisters” moves up one spot to No. 4, while Activision’s “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” jumps to the No. 5 position, still nearly two months from its release.

The Alien franchise’s latest installment, “Alien: Romulus,” holds firm at No. 6 for the second week in a row during its first full week in theaters. Max’s “House of the Dragon” continues its run at No. 7, while “It Ends with Us,” starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, remains at No. 9. Animated family blockbusters — Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” and Universal’s “Despicable Me 4” — both reappear on the list this week at No. 8 and No. 10, respectively. “Inside Out 2” is now also available to buy or rent on digital platforms at a premium price.
