SC summons Maha additional chief secy Rajesh Kumar for 'contempt'

​​A bench headed by justice BR Gavai summoned Kumar after observing that certain comments in the affidavit filed by him on behalf of the state were "prima facie contemptuous". Kumar has been directed to remain present in person on September 9 and showcause as to why contempt be not initiated against him.
