NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) - Iberia Parish Deputies are investigating the death of a man.

Early Wednesday morning, the man's body was found on Gerald James Drive in a front yard of a home. Police say neighbors found the body. One neighbor told KLFY News she heard gunshots around midnight.

The name of the victim has not been released.
