Amazon slashes cost of little-known budget smartphone from £180 to £139 – customers are calling it ‘a genuine bargain’
COST-CONSCIOUS shoppers are in for a treat as I’ve spotted a bargain on Amazon – from a legendary phone brand.
Amazon has slashed the price of the Motorola Moto G54 by 23%, taking the already affordable total down to £139 from £179.99.

The more seasoned readers will remember the iconic Motorola brand from back in the early 2000s and the immensely memorable ‘Hello Moto’ adverts.
The company took a hit in the past with the release of popular devices from Apple and Samsung but has recently been making a stable comeback with some budget-friendly options.
It’s worth noting that while Motorola has a great range of affordable devices if you’re looking for a hit of nostalgia but want a slightly more mid-range device, there are plenty of options.
In fact, we recently spotted the Motorola Moto G84 reduced from £249.99 to just £179.
Looking at what’s on offer with Motorola’s Moto G54, it’s clear the tech company has made a curious comeback in recent years.
It doesn’t aim to compete with the new big-hitters in the industry: instead, it’s carved out a line of affordable-but-impressive handsets.
Firstly, the immersive Full HD+ display ensures vibrant colours and sharp contrasts, and most importantly provides you with a screen you can get lost in while you stream your favourite shows.
The fantastic screen is coupled with a 50MP with OIS.2 Capture – that means you’ll get crisp photos even in low lighting.
Motorola also states the camera is unshakeable, so even if you can’t stop moving your video will come out stable.
For the tech wizards out there the Optical Image Stabilization feature helps users to reduce unwanted camera movements while recording.
The impressive software anticipates camera movements and corrects the judders in real-time.
Better yet, despite being much less costly than flagship phones it has a 5,000mAh battery with speedy charging so you’ll never have to stop for long before you’re ready to get back out there.
Amazon shoppers are keen on the low-cost phone as one boldly claims it’s ‘a genuine bargain phone’.
The same shopper goes on to praise it for its ‘slim profile for a phone at this price, the screen goes almost up to the edge with a minimal bezel.’
‘The screen quality is good (Full HD/120Hz) and bright, plus colours are vibrant but natural.’
‘[The] text is clear and sharp and the screen can be read in most sunlight.’
