Vice Admiral Rajesh Dhankhar takes over as DG of Project 'Seabird'

Vice Admiral Rajesh Dhankhar has taken over as director general of Project 'Seabird', which focuses on expanding the Karwar Naval Base. Dhankhar, a navigation and direction specialist, succeeds Vice Admiral Tarun Sobti. Project 'Seabird' is the largest defence infrastructure project in India, aimed at enhancing naval capabilities at the strategically important base in Karnataka.
