OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to a house fire Wednesday morning.

According to OKCFD, firefighters responded to a home near NW 23rd St. and Meridian Ave. around 2 a.m.

Upon arrival, crews discovered that the fire started outside of the garage. All of the residents made it out of the house safely.

"The homeowner had woken up to use the restroom in the night. He smelled smoke, he wasn't exactly sure what was going on," said Batt. Chief Andrew McCann with OKCFD. "He awoke the others in the house. They exited the structure."

Crews were able to put the fire out quickly and no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
