Govt announces 12 new industrial smart cities: Here are the cities' names and other key details

The Union Cabinet has approved 12 new industrial smart cities under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme, investing Rs 28,602 crore to boost domestic manufacturing and economic development. These projects will bring the total number of industrial cities in India to 20, including the eight currently in progress.
