Three brothers charged after mum, 32, stabbed in front of her child at Notting Hill carnival & left fighting for life
THREE brothers have been charged after a 32-year-old mum was stabbed in front of her child at the Notting Hill Carnival.
Cops deployed to the Carnival became aware of a woman who had been stabbed at 6pm on Sunday.
A woman, 32, was stabbed at Notting Hill Carnival while there with her young child[/caption]They gave her emergency treatment until paramedics took her to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
Shakiel Thibou, 20, will appear in court this morning charged with the woman’s attempted murder.
Thibou was arrested at an address in the west London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham yesterday morning.
He was charged early this morning with attempted murder, violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Thibou’s brothers Sheldon and Shaiem have also been charged over the stabbing.
Sheldon Thibou, 24, has been charged with violent disorder, possession of a stun gun and assaulting an emergency worker.
Shaeim Thibou, 22, has been charged with violent disorder and assaulting an emergency worker.
All three have been remanded to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning.
The three brothers live at different addresses in Hammersmith and Fulham.
Scotland Yard said: “The public are strongly reminded that this is an active case.
“Nothing should be published, including on social media, which could prejudice future court proceedings.”
