White Sox, Rangers delayed by rain after four pitches

The White Sox home game against the Rangers is being delayed by rain.

Only four pitches from left-hander Garrett Crochet into the game, a dark, ominous sky that crept up on Guaranteed Rate Field minutes before the 7:10 start produced a downpour, sending fans to the concourses and prompting umpires to bring out the tarp.

At 7:25 p.m., the Sox announced that rain was expected in the area for another hour.
