Dog Carnival at Doggie Sweets in New Jersey returns for 2nd year

LONG BRANCH, N.J. (PIX11) -- It promises to be a doggone good time.

The Dog Carnival hosted by Doggie Sweets Pet Cafe in New Jersey is returning in September.

Doggie Sweets is a pet boutique located at 15 Morris Ave. in Long Branch. It offers items to throw your furry friend the perfect party, including healthy dog treats, dog-friendly cake mix, food trucks for dogs and more.

Dogs will be welcomed to the carnival at Doggie Sweets from 2-5 p.m. on Sept. 1. The event will feature Himalayan popcorn, bacon bubbles, tattoos, photo opportunities and more, according to the website.

"We are thrilled to announce our upcoming 2nd annual Dog Carnival at Doggie Sweets! This year, we have a plethora of exciting activities lined up for our furry friends and their owners, including tattoos, a ball pit, a peanut butter contest, a tunnel, and much more," said owner Patricia Dill. "As an extra treat, we are partnering with the Carousel, where dogs ride free alongside their owners (owners need to purchase a ticket). Get ready for a day full of fun and wagging tails!
