Moza Racing’s new sim products cause excitement at Gamescom with new controllers for racing and flight

Moza Racing is continuing to turn the screw on the simulator peripheral industry with the unveiling of a raft of new desirable controllers across both the race and flight sim space.

Gamescome 2024 was where the Chinese company that has taken the market by storm following the release of high-quality affordable racing wheel setups over the past few years, chose to show off its forthcoming product lines that we can expect to arrive over the coming months.

The biggest buzz was created by the company’s new mBooster Active pedals which will look to fill one of the few remaining gaps in Moza’s car racing gear.

Moza said of the pedals, “The Moza Racing mBooster Active Pedals offer a unique motion mechanism. With quick-change functionality, pedal types can be switched effortlessly via software. The innovative mBooster system replaces traditional springs with motors and ball screws, allowing precise adjustment of pedal feel and travel. Equipped with dual 200kg pressure sensors and a 15-bit angle sensor, these pedals deliver ultra-accurate feedback. The ergonomic design and support for inverted mounting ensure a customizable and immersive sim racing experience, enhanced by professional software for further tuning.”

Also for race enthusiasts came news that the ESX wheel for Xbox would soon be available as a separate purchase, meaning it can now be fitted onto any wheelbase that the company offers, not just the R3 which was Moza’s least powerful offering in its range.

Multi-function stalks also caught the eye as an add-on that attaches between your wheel rim and base and provides controls like in a real car for wipers, lights and so forth. This ups the immersion factor in games in the truck driving genre or even rally cars and the like.

A new partnership with Porsche will also bring the exciting-looking Porsche Mission R replica wheel which looks far and away like Moza’s best-looking wheel today, certainly running the Vision GS close in terms of looks.

Flight simmers were also not left out, especially Airbus fans with a new sidestick called the MA3X, compatible with Moza’s new Force Feedback base. The sidestick is available to pre-order now along with the ESX wheel.
