Daimler Truck Southern Africa assembles 800 000th unit

Daimler Truck Southern Africa (DTSA) this month celebrated the assembly and handover of the 800 000th completely knocked-down (CKD) unit from its source plant in Woerth, Germany, at its East London operations. The truck was a Mercedes-Benz Actros 2645LS/33, and the buyer Sesfigile Logistics and Safety One Logistics, both owned and operated by Nelen Gounder.
