Love Island fans are convinced that one couple secretly split and was in a ‘showmance’ for fame.
Eagle-eyed viewers flocked to Jessy Potts’ latest Instagram post to scrutinise her relationship status with Joey Essex.
Jessy shared a stunning photo in full glam makeup, wearing a simple white crop top, high-waisted denim jeans, and a beige leather jacket.
However, some fans were more focused on speculating about her relationship with Joey.
One user commented: “I really don’t think Jessy and Joey are together.”
Another added: “It was a showmance; they just have to keep up appearances.”

Jessy and Joey met on Love Island after Jessy entered the villa as a bombshell.
Joey, who was initially paired with his ex, Grace Jackson, quickly shifted his attention to Jessy, coupling up with her until the end of their journey.

After being dumped, Jessy expressed regret that Joey had “p***** off” so many people during his time on the show.

“He’s 34, and I’m 25, but the age gap doesn’t bother me,” she stated.
Jessy added: “Everyone I’ve dated has been 30 or older, so I’d rather date someone older as they’re more mature. Age is just a number at the end of the day, and we get on really well.”
