Health minister sticks with plan to pay for minors' treatment from state budget

To keep Estonia's healthcare system afloat, additional funding will be necessary. According to Minister of Health Riina Sikkut (SDE), one option for ensuring the continued financing of the healthcare system is to allocate funds from the state budget to cover healthcare costs for individuals under 19 years old through the Health Insurance Fund.
