With summer (unofficially) ending in a week from now, I’ve been gearing up for the next season all month long. Between shopping for a transitional wardrobe to go back to the office to testing out new products for weather changes up ahead, my mind has been on nothing but prep mode — especially for my skincare. The older I get, the more I realize that I can’t wait until the new season starts to change my beauty routine. I have to start switching my products out early so I don’t experience flare-ups. And with the cooler months arriving at any moment, I’m trying to prevent having dry, cracked skin as early as possible. And I think I may have found the ultimate body product that’ll help me do just that.

Australian beauty brand Saya has some of the most luxurious body and skincare products I’ve ever used. I’m undoubtedly obsessed with their body wash and coconut body polish, so I sensed that I’d love the brand’s Rich Body Cream, too, and I’m happy to report that my senses couldn’t be more correct. The Saya Rich Body Cream is my new favorite body cream. It’s a soft, creamy consistency that’s easy to rub into the skin. As someone who doesn’t like to use lotion because of how greasy it can feel, I can honestly say this body cream was a pleasure to apply.

Saya Rich Body Cream

It’s made with shea butter, cocoa butter, macadamia oil, and coconut oil, creating a beautiful formula that’s a savior for dry skin. Naturally, my skin favors the drier side, and on top of that, I live in a dry attic-style apartment, so my skin tends to feel more dry and tight throughout the year compared to most people. Having a main ingredient like shea butter is a must for me in most of my body products. It’s rich in vitamins A, E, and F that offer intense moisture and softness to the skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory properties that help to soothe and calm irritated skin — which tends to happen to me during the cooler months.

Aside from how well it hydrates my dry skin, the rich body cream also has a wonderful fragrance that’s just divine. The scents of macadamia and coconut pull through to create a warm and comforting aroma that I enjoy. Personally, I think it makes me smell like a freshly baked macadamia nut cookie in the most grown-up way possible. It doesn’t smell fake or artificial like other scented body products that can be too overpowering to bear. Instead, it’s light but still potent enough to smell throughout the day. And with fall on the horizon, it’s a beautiful scent that can be layered with usual go-to fall fragrances like vanilla or pumpkin.

I’m not the only one who thinks this body cream is a must-have for dry skin. Tons of other shoppers who’ve tried Saya adore this body cream, too. “This body cream is yummy,” one shopper shared in their five-star review. “It smells lovely and leaves my skin so hydrated for pretty much the whole day. It’s rich but not oily, and I know it is a big call, but this is the best body cream I’ve ever had. I’m in love with it!”

“I found the Saya Body Cream absolutely amazing. As one ages, especially well into their eighties, the skin seems to get very dry,” wrote another shopper. “Using this body cream has been a blessing as now my skin is smooth with no dryness. I have introduced it to two of my friends who are well into their eighties and swear by it. I found you do not have to use much body cream, so it’s also very economical.”

“Genuinely my favorite body cream ever,” our last shopper shared. “It sinks in quickly, moisturizes all day and night, and has a natural scent that isn’t too overpowering, so you can layer perfumes on top.  I’ve gifted this to so many people!”
