Jessica Biel Films ‘The Better Sister’ in Neutral Bottega Veneta Mules in New York
Jessica Biel was spotted on set, filming on location in New York for her new TV show “The Better Sister” today. Beyond prepping for her show, Biel has been on the road this summer with her husband Justin Timberlake, supporting his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour.
For her romp in the city, the “7th Heaven” star donned a pair of Bottega Veneta mules. The breezy silhouette featured thick straps crafted of tan leather embossed with a raised triangular pattern that gave way to gold buckle closures rounded open toes and a slip-on construction. The 3.9-inch high heels rounded out the set made of a woven fabric, a design staple for the designer brand.
Versatile and summery, the pair offered Biel’s look a neutral but playful twist. The Bottega Veneta mule can be purchased via third-party sites, given the style seems to be out of the brand’s regular footwear circulation. It is likely the silhouette is an older model for the brand and can be found pre-loved.
Getting ready for fall, the “Total Recall” actress wore a striped sweater dress in a maxi style. The garment featured a mock neckline and blue and pink horizontal striping throughout. Overtop, Biel wore a khaki-colored coat with turtle shell buttons.
Biel’s personal aesthetic is the definition of classic. She always has fun with her looks and incorporates trends into her wardrobe each season, but at its core, her style stays true to its timelessness year after year. For footwear, she will likely slip into flats, versatile boots, statement sneakers and pointed-toe pumps.
“The Better Sister” is an upcoming thriller television show directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Biel and Elizabeth Banks. The show is an adaptation of the 2019 novel of the same name by Alafair Burke. Filming for the project began in July of this year.
