Heat sticks around for a few days with scattered storms possible late Tuesday
What We’re Tracking
- Several hot days ahead
- Few storms Tuesday evening
- Late week cool-down
Temperatures tonight will fall back into the middle 70s with a light southerly wind. Fairly humid weather in store for the overnight hours, as well.
A weak frontal boundary moves in later on Tuesday and sparks a chance for a few thunderstorms Tuesday evening. It doesn't make too much of a difference temperature-wise but it does slow our warming as highs reach the upper 90s on Tuesday. A stronger cold front arrives Thursday night.
We'll see only a gradually cooling trend throughout the middle of the week ahead of that stronger front, seeing more middle 90s by Wednesday. Our best chance for scattered showers looks to be late Thursday or Thursday night along a front. That will help us cool down into the 80s by Friday!
