Top Republicans fear GOP impeachment effort 'could hurt their campaigns'
According to an exclusive Axios report, House GOP leaders are not happy with the few hard-right Republicans pushing for an impeachment vote against President Joe Biden.
Per the report, sources say top Republicans are worried that the "last-minute" effort "could hurt their campaigns."
Far-right House members, like Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Andy Biggs (R-AZ) or Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) remain hard pressed to oust the president, despite the fact his term is almost over.
"Even leadership doesn't want it," the news outlet notes.

One GOP member told Axios that the "only thing we should be focused on is the issues that people talk about around their dinner table and keep them up at night."
They added, "That's not a Biden impeachment."
However, the news outlet reports "just one member can force a vote."
On the other hand, Rep. Biggs said during an episode of Steve Bannon's War Room podcast last week that he's worried GOP leadership is going to "say, we don't have time to do it."
