Independent natural gas transport system operator likely soon

The oil ministry discussed plans to establish an Independent Transport System Operator (TSO) to manage the natural gas pipeline's common carrier capacity. The TSO aims to ensure fair access for all gas marketers by eliminating potential conflicts of interest. Initially proposed in 2020, the plan is being revisited following industry demand.
