Person struck by train near Elmhurst Ave, multiple lines delayed

ELMHURST, Queens (PIX11) – A person was struck by a train near the Elmhurst Avenue station Monday morning, according to New York City Transit.

E, F, M and R train service was “severely disrupted” after the person was struck, according to officials. The incident happened just after 11 a.m.
