The revelation came alongside a snap of show producer Andy Wilman[/caption]

Show boss Andy Wilman made it clear that neither him nor Jeremy were afraid to step away from the series if they felt there was nothing new for viewers to see.

Speaking to Deadline, he said: “I’ve got no feelings on whether there’s a five or not.

“Jeremy’s the same. He’s like: when we’ve got nothing left to say, let’s walk away.”

However, the Top Gear presenter turned farmer has now alluded to an upcoming season five.

Alongside a snap of Andy holding up some canine treats, he joked: “The dogs pleading with Andy Wilman to be in season 5.”

Several of Jeremy’s followers took the post as an announcement that there will be a fifth season and rushed to show their enthusiasm.

One person exclaimed: “Season 5. Amazing !!!!!!! Bring on season 4!!!!”

A second added: “Fantastic news.”

A third joked: “They are trying to convince him there needs to be season 6&7&8 and I think you get the idea.”

Clarkson’s Farm follows Jeremy’s attempt to make a lucrative business out of a farm in Oxfordshire.

The fourth series is currently under production, with episodes rumoured to drop in summer 2025.

Speaking about what made the show so successful, Andy previously shared: “I don’t think we saw the real magic until the sheep arrived [in series one].

“And obviously Kaleb [Cooper] bollocking Jeremy. Those are the moments where you go: alright, we’ve really got something here.”

He continued: “Everybody wants to be in that little world because it’s a bit of a 1950s world where a big problem is a cow that’s in trouble, or a dam that’s not mended. Very little of consequence happens.

“It’s like an escape pod. Forget all your troubles and be on Clarkson’s Farm.”
