Milestones: Good news about Marin people

Graduation: Alexis Ichihana, of Novato, graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of arts in psychology.

Graduation: Katherine Cole Lardner, of San Anselmo, and Owen Colin Murray, of Tiburon, graduated from Washington and Lee University. Lardner received a bachelor of arts in religion, and Murray received a bachelor of arts in politics.

Graduation: Jason Andrews, of Tiburon, graduated from Clark University with a master of science in geographic information science.

Graduation: Paz Vigil, of Novato, graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a master of science degree.

Recognition: Dr. James S. Simon, senior aviation medical examiner at the Marin County Airport, received the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award from the Federal Aviation Administration.
