Fatal motorcycle crash in Bronx leaves woman, child in critical condition: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A woman and child are in critical condition, and a man died after a collision between a motorcycle and a Lexus car in the Bronx on Sunday, according to police.

The accident happened on the Pelham Parkway around 3 p.m. Police said the motorcycle with two people on it and the vehicle with three people inside collided on the westbound service road.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead and the female passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to police. The 40-year-old male driver of the Lexus and the 39-year-old woman passenger were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive. A 3-year-old girl passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
