A group of legendary Black female leaders who were integral to Jesse Jackson’s 1980s campaigns are now the veteran Democratic strategists running the show. The group, self-proclaimed as “The Colored Girls,” includes Minyon Moore, Donna Brazile, Leah Daughtry, Tina Flournoy, and Yolanda Caraway.
