Kerala govt forms seven-member police team to probe atrocities faced by women in movie industry

The Kerala government formed a seven-member special team to investigate sexual assault allegations in the cinema industry, headed by IG Sparjan Kumar and senior women IPS officers. Following the Justice Hema Committee's alarming findings, Director Ranjith and actor Siddique resigned from their respective positions in the film industry organizations.
