Speaking to her partner via text, she asked if morally she could tuck into them as they had been sat at her door for two hours with no one collecting them.

To top it off, there was no name or house number on the package so she had no idea who it belonged to.

After getting the green light from her boyfriend, she decided to tuck into the array of doughnuts.

But four hours later she was mortified to see a post it note left on her door.

It read: “Help! Missing Duck Doughnuts,” and adding his name and flat number and phone number so he could get them back.

Of course, she had nothing to give him as she had already eaten them, but she confessed to her crime.

He took the theft surprisingly well, adding that a friend sent them to him so wasn’t expecting the package in the first place.

Her neighbour also refused to accept and reimbursement for the doughnuts.

However, Becca couldn’t get over her guilt and decided to send them a giftcard for them to have dinner at her favourite restaurant Texas de Brazil.

“Am I the worst? Yes. Does this make up for it? Maybe,” she captioned the post.

The clip posted to Becca’s TikTok account @beccabarnoski soon went viral with over 5 million views and 426k likes.

People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments.

One person wrote: “I would be so embarrassed to have to admit that.”

Another commented: “How much were those donuts cause a Texas De Brazil gift card.”
