Dutch GP: Day of extremes for Williams Racing
The second day of the 2024 Dutch GP would commence with FP3 and it was this session that would see the Williams Racing Team start their day of extremes. The session would see Logan Sargeant make the smallest of mistakes that had the most serious of consequences seeing him crash with his car ending up destroyed lying in the middle of the track and on fire. That crash took Logan out of qualifying and it was all down to Alex Albon to represent the team as the team started the massive task of rebuilding Logan's car. Alex would finish in an impressive 8th which was such a lift for the team and its fans. But later on in the day we would be presented with another extreme. Alex's car was disqaulified when his floor was found to not comply with the FIA's regulations after it was cheked post qualifying. So this would see Alex join Logan at the back of the grid for Sunday's race. Such an amazing day but for all the wrong reasons.
