ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A 53-year-old Arnaudville man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday evening, according to Louisiana State Police.
The crash claimed the life of Kevin Meche.
In a news release Saturday, state police said the crash occurred around 6 p.m. Friday on LA Highway 93 near Grand Lake Drive in Arnaudville.
Investigators said Meche was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado south on Highway 93 when the vehicle veered off the roadway and into a ditch. From there the vehicle "continued to travel south before re-entering the roadway and overturning multiple times," state police said.
"Meche, who was restrained, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene," police said.
