Christian Slater Says He Got an 'Ego Boost' After Beating 'Blink Twice' Co-Star Channing Tatum in Push-Up Contest

Christian Slater is sharing some behind-the-scenes details about his new movie!

The 55-year-old actor stars alongside Channing Tatum in the new movie Blink Twice, which marks Zoe Kravitz‘s directorial debut.

In a new interview, Christian said that he got an “ego boost” when he beat Channing, 44, in a push-up contest.

Keep reading to find out more…“I think I did, like, 52 [push-ups] at that time,” Christian told People. “I could have kept going, but I didn’t want to embarrass everyone.”

Christian went on to say that he was able to complete the feat “all in one shot,” adding that his prize was “ego boost, really.”

“[It was] just a wonderful feeling that I just kicked Magic Mike’s ass,” Christian jokingly added. “It was great.”

In another recent interview, Channing revealed the thing that he steals from “every” set.
