‘I’ve stopped having mine done professionally now’ beauty buffs rave over £1.50 nails from Poundland
ON an average, a typical visit to the nail shop will set you back around £35 to £45.
But what if you could rock chic nails without forking out a fortune and spend just a little over £1 to look like you’ve just come out of a nail salon?
Well, according to money-savvy beauty buffs, you can now ditch the pricey visits to the nail shop because the discount store Poundland is offering a purse-friendly alternative.
That’s right, the retailer has come to rescue helping shoppers slash the monthly costs with press-on nails that come in a range of sleek and glam designs.
One customer, Rachel Jacques, from Manchester, was so pleased with hers, she took to the Poundland Appreciation Society group on Facebook to rave about the bargain find.
Showing off her fabulous nails, the beauty lover wrote in her post: ”These £1.50 nails from Poundland are so good.”
All chuffed with her budget-friendly purchase, Rachel also revealed that despite the low price, the quality was amazing too and the didn’t fall off.
”They stay on for days and don’t ruin your natural nails like acrylic ones do!”
In the snap uploaded alongside the post, the Poundland super fan showed off her square nails that had a classic French tip, as well as a few dainty flowers on a nude pink base – the perfect pick for any occassion.
It’s not just Rachel raving about the £1.50 beauty find – fellow shopper, Helen Dyass, also chimed in with her glam nails.
Sharing a photo of glossy pink press-ons that had an intricate white detailing, the Poundland customer said she’s ditched expensive visits to the nail shop.
”Love Poundland nails, I’ve stopped having mine professionally done now.”
The post has clearly impressed dozens of Facebook users, many of whom flocked to comments to share their thoughts and tag their pals to let them know about the deal.
”One was amazed by the look, writing: ”Gorgeous! You wouldn’t even know they’re from Poundland!”
Another chimed in: ”I’ve had these ones and they’re really good, and the plain square lilac ones too.”
”They look lovely,” a third penned.

”I’ve tried so many of these nails and they literally never stay on, soon as I wash some dishes they fall right off,” a social media user cried.
According to fellow nail lovers, you’re better off not using the Poundland glue and instead apply the press-ons with ”a decent glue from Superdrug”.
”It’s the glue that is awful, the nails are decent,” explained one.
”I use a glue from Savers brilliant, mine last me 2 weeks,” another added.
