Truck driver gets 22 years in prison for fatal crash while watching videos

PHOENIX, Arizona: A tractor-trailer driver who killed five people in a fiery crash because he was distracted watching social media videos was sent to prison for 22 years.

Maricopa County prosecutors said this week that Danny Glen Tiner, 38, pleaded guilty to five counts of negligent homicide.

Investigators said Tiner was driving 68 mph in a 55-mph construction zone during the January 2023 crash on Interst
