2 killed in wrong-way crash on Henry Hudson Parkway in NYC: police
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Two people were killed when a truck driving the wrong way collided with another vehicle on the Henry Hudson Parkway in Manhattan on Saturday, police said.
The crash happened on northbound Henry Hudson Parkway near West 154th Street around 2:20 a.m., according to the NYPD. A pickup truck going the wrong way collided with a Dodge vehicle, police said.
Two people in the Dodge died at the scene, authorities said.
The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene on foot after the crash, according to police sources.
Two other vehicles were also involved in the crash, police said.
