The past week witnessed the Union government come up with measures planning to regulate sugar byproducts with a draft Sugar Control Order, while it is also mulling a cap on the use of sugarcane for ethanol production. Rubber prices, which had stretched to a record high, pulled back on increasing supplies, while Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology has almost ruled out the setting in of La Nina weather for now.
