THE FUTURE of Channel 4’s most shocking dating show has been revealed after just one series.

Love Triangle hit our screens back in April earlier this year.

The show was full of plenty of drama[/caption]

The programme sees six singletons (AKA the pickers) who text two potential lovers and then have to pick one for a blind date.

Things move fast on the show as they move in together, however they have no idea the other person they were texting moves in later on.

At the end of the series the picker has to choose who they want to be with out of the love triangle.

Fans will be excited to know that there will a second series will return to E4 and will be produced by broadcast company Workerbee, according to TVZone.

Commissioning editor Lee McMurray is over the moon with the news, saying: “Following the impressive streaming performance of its debut run, I’m delighted to be treating e4 viewers to a second series of Love Triangle.

“I can’t wait to see how a fresh batch of singles navigate this unique, three-way dating experiment, and what their stories will deliver in terms of the romance, drama and dilemmas our audience love.”

Workerbee’s Ben Mitchell added: “Workerbee is delighted to be making a new series of premium reality dating format, Love Triangle, for E4.

“Proudly filmed in Manchester, one of Britain’s coolest, most cosmopolitan cities, the new series will serve up a binge-fest of twists, turns and emotional drama.

“In Love Triangle, there are always three sides to every story!”

Back in July The Sun revealed that it was going to make a return.

A source said: “Love Triangle was a big success for E4 and just the kind of show that fits their brand.

“It’s from the makers of Married At First Sight and is like a cross between that and Love Island, so bosses really want to bring it back.

“They have already started casting for a second series and are looking for the sexiest singles ever.

“They believe the show has the potential to be bigger than ever the second time around and really grow into a supersized smash.”

Love Triangle was announced back in August 2023.

A TV insider said at the time: “Love Triangle will be full of twists, turns and bombshells.

“It will put Love Island to shame when it comes to the amount of drama.

“They have scoured the UK for singletons to take part and there are some big characters, so there is plenty of passion.

“Living in a love triangle will put the singletons under pressure.

“But that can often bring people together.”

The show first launched in Australia and was developed by the people behind Married At First Sight, so it has all the right ingredients for success.
