Targeting to impart training to 10,000 youth in 3 yrs at Mumbai skill centres: Piyush Goyal

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal revealed plans for skill development centres in Borivali and Kandivali, Mumbai, targeting to train 10,000 youth in three years, promising job placements upon completion. The centres will offer vocational courses in various fields, including hospitality and training for Japan's workforce shortage. Skill Development Minister Jayant Chaudhary committed support for these initiatives. The Apparel, Made-Ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council will run one of the centres, focusing on technology and fashion-related skills to boost job opportunities for skilled youth.
