Smile, you’re on (traffic) camera
NEW YORK (PIX11) – When walking around New York City, someone is always watching – and that someone is the New York City Department of Transportation.
The agency has traffic cameras placed at hundreds of intersections and highways.
Now, you can take a photo at your favorite intersection using the surveillance cameras. An artist from Brooklyn created a website that shows you the traffic cameras in real time and allows you to take a picture.
So we sent New York Living’s Nelson Figueroa to PIX Plaza on the corner of 42nd Street and Second Avenue to show you how it's done.
