Rumer Willis Confirms She & Derek Richard Thomas Split, Provides Update on Bruce Willis' Health

Rumer Willis confirmed some big news about her relationship with Derek Richard Thomas and provided an update on her dad Bruce Willis‘ health while answering fan questions on social media.

The 36-year-old actress announced that she and Derek, a musician, were no longer together. The couple debuted their relationship in late 2022 and welcomed a child – a daughter named Louetta - together the following year.

When asked if they were still a couple, Rumer said that she had split but were coparenting their little one.

“I am single momming it and coparenting,” she said, adding, “I’m so grateful for Lou.”

“She is the best thing in my life and I’m forever grateful I was able to have the time in that relationship for her to come into my life,” Rumer gushed.

She added that she wanted more kids in the future, saying that she was aiming to have six or seven

Rumer was also asked about her dad, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (also known as FTD) in February 2023.

“He is great,” she replied, adding, “I love him so much.”
