ASIDE from all of the games subscribers can download or stream from the Xbox Game Pass library, each weekend there are even more free games Xbox owners can play.

Every weekend Xbox holds an event called Free Play Days where a number of games are available for Xbox Game Pass Core and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to try for free.

Notably, Free Play Days are not available on Xbox Game Pass Standard, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and the soon to be defunct Xbox Game Pass for Console plan.

This week there are four games that certain Game Pass subscribers can play for free between Thursday, August 22, 2024, and Sunday, August 25, 2024.

All four games are also on sale during this time, so if you enjoy the trial, you can pick them afterwards for a discount.

The first game available this month is Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, based on the popular anime series Naruto.

In Shinobi Striker, players will create their own original Naruto character and then fight with friends or strangers online in teams of four.

This is the perfect time to try it out as more people are likely to play during Free Play Days, meaning it will be easier to find a match.

The next game is Kingdom Come Deliverance, which will receive a highly-anticipated sequel early next year.

This is a first-person open-world RPG, where players take on the role of a mediaeval person during the Roman Empire.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will launch on February 11, 2025, making this the perfect time to try the original out.

Hell Let Loose is another game that is available this weekend, and is a first-person shooter based on World War 2.

Players can take part in 50v50 combat on maps based on real-life historic WW2 battlegrounds.

There are multiple different game modes and factions so you can explore various sides of WW2.

The final game available this weekend is Gigabash, a multiplayer arena brawler where players fight as kaiju monsters.

As a gigantic Godzilla-like beast, you can destroy cities and even pick up skyscrapers to hit your opponent.

Here’s all of the games available this weekend via Xbox Free Play Days:

  • Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker
  • Kingdom: Come Deliverance
  • Hell Let Loose
  • Gigabash
