Man hit by car in Lafayette Thursday night in critical condition

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car while walking in Lafayette Thursday night, authorities said.
Lafayette Police are investigating a major vehicle crash involving an unidentified pedestrian that occurred at around 10:18 p.m. in the 100 block of S. College Road. The male pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition as a result of the accident, police said.
