“A truly surreal feeling to secure my future with Alpine as a Formula 1 Driver for 2025. A dream come true, but something that could not have been obtained without many personal sacrifices from me and family. An opportunity I intend to grab with two hands and leave no stone unturned both on and off the track. Most importantly, I can’t thank the entire BWT Alpine F1 Team enough for this opportunity ????” Jack shared on Instagram.

“We are very excited to promote Jack into the race seat from next season and, in doing so, giving him the opportunity to showcase his skill and talent in Formula 1,” newly appointed Team Principal Oliver Oakes shared in a statement. “Jack will become the first driver to graduate from the Alpine Academy into a race driver position with the team, so that is exceptionally pleasing for the team and its young driver pathway.”

“Personally, I have worked with Jack back in 2019 and I am fully aware of his raw talent and potential. He is a very hard worker behind the scenes and his commitment is hugely valued by the entire team,” he continued. “Alongside Pierre, we have a well-balanced driver line-up with a good combination between youthful energy, experience, and pure speed.”

“We look forward to working with both Jack and Pierre in order to keep developing the car and bring the team up the grid.”

Jack has worked his way up the Formula circuits over the past few years, after starting in Formula 4 at the age of 15. In 2020, he moved up to Formula 3, and in 2021, he was promoted to Formula 2, replacing Richard Verschoor in the last two races.

His Formula 1 career started in 2017 as part of the Red Bull Junior Team, before leaving their academy after his 2021 season and joining the Alpine Academy in 2022.

In 2023, he joined the BWT Alpine F1 Team as their reserve driver, where he has been since.
