AC Hotel Columbus Dublin appoints new General Manager

DUBLIN, OHIO – AC Hotel Columbus Dublin welcome Deniz Akyuz as the new General Manager of the property. In his new role, Akyuz is responsible for spearheading day-to-day hotel operations and further enhancing guest experiences at the hotel.

Previously the Regional Director of Food & Beverage for Life House Hotel Group in Miami, Fla., Akyuz has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Throughout this professional career, he has also held Director of Operations and General Manager positions at various premier hotels, resorts, restaurants, and major service operations across the globe.

The AC Hotel Columbus Dublin is home to the Spanish-inspired rooftop lounge and restaurant, VASO, which has been honored with accolades like ‘Restaurant Bar of the Year’ by Nightclub and Bar Media Group Awards, ‘Best Designed Bar in Ohio’ by Architectural Digest, and was named ‘Best Rooftop in America’ by Tasting Table – making Akyuz’s background in F&B a natural fit for the property.

Akyuz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant, from the Florida International University in Miami, Fla.. Throughout his career, Deniz has been heavily involved in the strategic planning, staffing, budgeting, financial forecasting, and guest service initiatives at hotels and resorts throughout the U.S. and overseas, with a focus on achieving optimal quality, profitability, and innovation in the luxury hotel space.
