Columbus Division of Fire investigating fire at Beatty Park building

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A fire broke out at the recreation center at Beatty Park Thursday night, according to the Columbus Division of Fire.

Fire Chief Jeffrey Geitter said a fire broke out at the 200 block of North Ohio Avenue at the recreation center in Beatty Park. Geitter said there were no injuries, and the cause is under investigation.

The center is behind Champion Middle School. Geitter did not offer information about damages, and said they will be investigating further.
