Patriots’ Rhamondre Stevenson Reserves 2024 Personal Goals
Rhamondre Stevenson may just be the most capable skill player on offense for the New England Patriots entering the 2024 season.
He's been a workhorse for the offense, tallying over 1,000 yards rushing in 2022 where he nearly willed a dysfunctional Patriots offense to the postseason himself. New England saw that production and made a move for the future by signing the Oklahoma product to a four-year extension earlier this summer.
A high-ankle sprain ended his 2023 season as part of an overall disaster in New England. With plenty of youth on the offense in 2024, Stevenson holds himself to a particular standard. What he feels he needs to prove, however, will stay internal to drive the fourth-year Patriots running back."
"Run hard ... I'm not really gonna share that with y'all," Stevenson told reporters, per team-provided video. "I got some personal records and stuff like that. I'm gonna keep that to myself. Run hard, be a good teammate and be successful."
Stevenson pairs with offseason signing Antonio Gibson as New England's primary duo out of the backfield in 2024. With a developing rookie quarterback waiting in the wings along with a host of youthful receivers, Stevenson's ability to set the tone in the running game will absolutely be at the center of the Patriots offense this season.
