'Too many thank yous': Trump raises eyebrows with gripes about Kamala Harris speech

Donald Trump posted a slew of eyebrow-raising gripes as Vice President Kamala Harris accepted the Democratic Party's presidential nomination Thursday.

Trump took to Truth Social to complain about elements of Harris' national address at the United Center in Chicago.

"Too many 'Thank yous,' too rapidly said, what’s going on with her?" Trump wrote. "A lot of talk about childhood, we’ve got to get to the Border, Inflation, and Crime!"

Trump also demanded to know the location of President Joe Biden's son Hunter and suggested Harris' running mate Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) had misrepresented his experience as a high school football coach.

"WHERE’S HUNTER?" Trump wrote. Then added, "Walz was an ASSISTANT Coach, not a COACH."

These quips were met with confusion on X from political commentators who did not share Trump's concerns.

Bloomberg columnist Matthew Yglesias replied to Trump's jab at Walz with sarcasm, writing, "They’ve got him now."

"Good lord," added Talking Points Memo's Josh Marshall. "He just tweeted this!"

Wired and Slate contributor Alejandra Caraballo looked at three Trump posts and said in her analysis, "He's not taking this well."

S.V. Dáte, White House correspondent for the Huffington Post, appeared to beyond words when Trump wrote on Truth Social, "IS SHE TALKING ABOUT ME?"

The correspondent literally responded with "………….."

Attorney Andrew Fleischman expressed concern.

"Oh no," he wrote, "I thought he was gonna let a staffer do this."
